Karen is an animal lover. As well as Jukurrpa (Dreaming stories), Karen paints birds and other animals that live in and around the community at Yuendumu. This lively dog is one of the local residents. The art centre at Yuendumu, Warlukurlangu, has funded a healthy dogs program, successfully improving the life of the dogs as well as the residents.
