Better World Arts is an accredited Fair Trader of Australia. We achieved this accreditation by completing a stringent assesment develpoed by the Fair Traders of Australia and New Zealand. We needed to provide evidence that we practice the ten practices of Fair Trade.

As well as the Fair Trade principles we have an added MO of our own, that of Cultural Preservation.Â
Our projects support Australian Aboriginal culture as well as endangered handicrafts. Supporting these activities is integral to supporting the very fabric of the cultures that create them, in the same way that supporting Aboriginal artists helps maintain their own stories and cultural foundation.
This is one of the very unique features of Better World Arts. We care about people and their own ways of life.
We prioritise practices that protect and preserve the environment for future generations.
We ensure that all products are made free from child labour or any form of forced work.
We actively support and promote Fair Trade principles throughout our supply chain.
We pay fair, stable prices that allow producers to sustain their livelihoods.
We invest in training and development to strengthen producers’ skills and independence.
We support safe, healthy, and dignified working environments.
Our partnerships are built on respect, fairness, and long-term commitment.
We are committed to openness and ethical responsibility in everything we do.
