Fair Trade

Better World Arts is an accredited Fair Trader of Australia. We achieved this accreditation by completing a stringent assesment develpoed by the Fair Traders of Australia and New Zealand. We needed to provide evidence that we practice the ten practices of Fair Trade.

As well as the Fair Trade principles we have an added MO of our own, that of Cultural Preservation.

Our projects support Australian Aboriginal culture as well as endangered handicrafts.  Supporting these activities is integral to supporting the very fabric of the cultures that create them, in the same way that supporting Aboriginal artists helps  maintain their own stories and cultural foundation.

This is one of the very unique features of Better World Arts.  We care about people and their own ways of life.
