MALIKIJARRA JUKURRPA (TWO DOGS DREAMING)
Two dog ancestors, a Jampijinpa and a Napangardi, travelled from west to east. As they journeyed, they dug holes in the ground, creating ‘warnirri’ (rockholes) and ‘ngapa’ (waterholes). Eventually, the two dogs separated. Jampijinpa became lonely and howled for Napangardi in the south. She came running to him, and they were married at Ngarnka.
