Jane Margaret TIPUAMANTUMIRRI
Jane Margaret Tipuamantumirri moved to Pirlangimpi in 2014 to live with her two sisters, Simplicia and Pamela, who care for her. Before moving, Jane worked as an artist on Bathurst Island with Ngaruwanajirri Inc, and later joined Munupi Arts.
Jane carefully considers her paintings before beginning. Painting is her therapy, benefiting both her hands and her mind. She also loves music and dancing. Jane has a beautiful soul and a warm smile and enjoys making new friends. She often listens to cultural stories told by her sister Simplicia and then creates her own stories through her paintings.
