Patricia Multa
Patricia Multa is an Aboriginal artist from the Luritja people, born in 1973 in the Central Desert of the Northern Territory, at Papunya Clinic. She grew up with her family at Kungkayunti (Browns Bore), her father’s country, and later lived in Haasts Bluff, where she continues to live and paint today.
Patricia paints with Ikuntji Artists, depicting the seeds, flowers, and landscapes of the ininti bush at Muruntji. Her work explores colour, movement, and seasonal change, and she draws on stories and knowledge passed down through her family. Patricia is regarded as a leading contemporary artist of her community, and her paintings are included in exhibitions and collections across Australia.
