RAMINDJERI RUWE DREAMING
Ramindjeri were an Indigenous Australian people forming part of the Kukabrak grouping, now otherwise known as the Ngarrindjeri people. They were the most westerly Ngarrindjeri, living in the area around Encounter Bay and Goolwa in southern South Australia, including Victor Harbor and Port Elliot.

When Ngurunderi came down the River Murray, making the country with the help of Pondi (Murray Cod), Ngarrindjeri made the people of the land. He made us the Ngarrindjeri people of the River Murray, Lake Coorong, and out to Kangaroo Island.
