THYLACINE
Tasmanian Tiger (Thylacinus cynocephalus) Not officially seen for decades, the last Tiger died in 1936 in the Hobart zoo. This large carniverous marsupial was once prolific, and interestingly appears on some endangered species lists. Many people claim to have seen this animal, mainly in Tasmania and Victoria. Some have even produced photos. We really hope that the Thylacine has been clever enough to hide in the bush and preserve itself.
