TIGER
Tiger (Panthera tigris) is the largest of the cat species and highly endangered. Once spread across Asia, from Turkey to Indonesia and China. Massacred for their pelts, and the destruction and fragmentation of habitat have ensured the demise of the tiger. Several species are already extinct, and the remaining species are close to extinct. Zoo breeding programs may be the only thing that can preserve the remaining species for us.
