FESTIVE

An ecologically sound collection of papers, Christmas decorations, decorative hangings hearts, and gift bags made from sustainable materials. We use no plastics in this range, no polystyrene, or any other non-biodegradable nasties. Most of the paper is made from cotton scraps left over from the garment industry. Our Australian made papers are made using certified eco-friendly sources, The lacquerware Christmas Ballas and Decorative Hearts are made from recycled paper and hand-painted using low-tech paint brushes!!. Most items are wrapped in paper or cotton muslin, eliminating plastic from the packaging process as well. We still need to upgrade the rolled paper packaging.

BABIES & CHILDREN

Baby goods are all 100% cotton, knitted, or quilted with cotton filling. No plastic or unnatural fibers are used, great for sensitive skin and bright and cheerful as well. We have knitted blankets and snuggles, muslin swaddles and bibs, and quilted blankets for the crib or as a play mat. These baby goods can be used for lots of babies, wash and use again and again.

STATIONERY

Our focus here is on recycled cotton handmade paper, sourced from the garment industry, the paper is heavy and textural. We use it for notebooks, multi-use gift bags, and wrapping paper and decorative pencils in lovely boxes. Hand printed glitter kraft paper adds a bit of bling to the range. Australian made cards, bookmarks and papers printed sustainably, with lots of logos to evidence this also feature here.

PAPER STARS

Handmade cotton paper is screen printed and made into fold out paper stars by skilled artisans in Jaipur, India. The screen printed images are licensed from Australian Aboriginal artists, and generate royalties that are paid to the artists on a monthly basis.

Pretty hand modelled hearts hung on black cotton cord and hand painted by Kashmiri artisans. Licensed Aboriginal artworks form the basis of the designs that are reproduced onto the heart, generating royalties for the artists and sustainable income for Kashmiri artisans living in remote rural regions.

PENCIL BOXES.

Hand crafted timber scraps recycled into composite wood panels, these boxes are then smoothed with paper mache slurry and hand painted using centuries old techniques practiced in the Kashmir valley.

COASTER SETS

Paper made from cotton offcuts left over from the garment industry has been recycled into our beautiful range of cotton paper gift bags, wrapping paper, note books and other stationery, graced by some of the prettiest artworks in our licensed artworks library.

LAVENDER SACHETS

Australian lavender is enveloped in beautiful artworks. Australian made sachets are sold individually and two matching sachets are made from the handmade recycled cotton paper. Both kinds are lovely.
