Shipping, Returns & Local Pickup – Better World Arts Australia

Postage and Delivery Information

We offer reliable and affordable art shipping within Australia and internationally. Postage is calculated based on the total value of your order; we have found this to be reliable.

Our online shipping rates have been carefully configured and are accurate for the majority of orders. Get in touch to discuss alternative options if the price charged doesn’t seem fair (in your favour).

If the postage cost seems high, please contact us directly for a custom shipping quote—particularly for large paintings, rolled canvas delivery, or international purchases.

We typically ship via Australia Post nationally, and you will receive an email with your parcel tracking number. If you haven’t received it, please get in touch so we can assist. Occasionally, we may use another courier service based on your location or the nature of the item. In those cases, we’ll communicate the details before dispatch.

Paintings are usually shipped unstretched and rolled, if you want stretcher bars and easy-to-follow re-stretching instructions. This method ensures safe and cost-effective shipping. Contact us if you’d prefer an alternative delivery method—we're always happy to help.

You’ll receive a purchase confirmation via email and a printed receipt with your order.

Secure Payment & Customer Privacy

Payments on our website are securely processed through Stripe. Our online store is Australian-based and transactions are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD$).

We collect and store customer information only as needed for order processing, secure payment, and communication. We comply with Australian privacy laws and do not share or sell your personal information. It will only be disclosed if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Customers are automatically subscribed to our mailing list but may unsubscribe at any time.

Order Fulfilment & Estimated Delivery Times

All orders are carefully packed at our Wingfield warehouse, and we aim to dispatch within 24 hours, excluding weekends.

  • Domestic shipping (Australia): 2–7 business days. Remote areas may take slightly longer.
  • International shipping: Most international orders are delivered within 14 days. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination country.

For international orders, GST (Goods and Services Tax) is automatically removed during checkout once a non-Australian shipping address is entered. Orders delivered to Australian addresses include 10% GST.

Please Note: Import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees may apply depending on your destination country. These are not included in our shipping charges. Better World Arts is not responsible for customs delays or additional fees.

Click & Collect (Local Pickup – Adelaide)

If you’re local to Adelaide, you may choose Click & Collect. Often same-day pickup may be available, or it may take 1–2 business days to transfer your order to your chosen location. We’ll communicate all arrangements directly with you via email, text or a phone call.

Product Availability

All orders are subject to availability and price confirmation. While we work hard to keep our inventory up to date, occasional discrepancies may occur. If an item becomes unavailable after ordering, we will contact you to offer a refund or help you choose an alternative product.

Free Gift-Wrapping Service

We offer free gift wrapping on request! If your order is a gift, just leave a note in the checkout comments, and we’ll lovingly wrap it and include a handwritten card with your message.

Returns & Refunds (Retail Sales Only)

If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 14 days for a refund or replacement. No explanation is necessary—change of mind returns are welcome.

If the item is faulty, we will refund the return shipping or offer a replacement if desired.

To help us manage artist royalties effectively, please notify us as soon as possible if the item is unsuitable. Late returns can affect our ability to process royalties accurately.

Returned items must be in original condition—unused, unwashed, and unaltered—with tags, barcodes, and artist labels included.  If the labels are gone, we can’t resell the goods.

Please allow up to 14 business days from mailing your return for processing. You will receive an email once your refund or exchange has been completed.

If your return is urgent, let us know—we’ll do our best to work with your timeline.
