    CUSHION COVERS

Hand Embroidered cushions are one of our iconic cross-cultural products. Australian Aboriginal designs are applied by hand using hand dyed wool onto a cotton canvas base. This artisanal Kashmiri handicraft has been practiced for generations. We also have canvas printed cushions in Aboriginal and Australian artists' designs. We have eliminated plastic from this range by replacing zips with wooden buttons and attaching tags with string or wool rather than plastic fasteners. You may get zips if you order, while we transition, soon it will only be buttons and string. We recently won a World Craft Council Award of Excellence for this project.

    CHAINSTITCH RUGS

These handmade rugs are the result of a marriage between contemporary Australian Aboriginal art and traditional Kashmiri artisans . The handicraft Gabba is an intergenerational skill, refined and perfected for hundreds of years by the artisans of a small region in the Kashmir valley and is a true cottage industry. Ancestral development has given artisans the ability to transform the work of Aboriginal artists into their own handicraft, producing a new and unique product that has generated economic opportunities for both artists and artisans for over two decades. As a sustainable and successful project, cultures on both sides of production benefit.

    THROWS & BLANKETS

Cotton is the fiber of choice in this range. Knitted 100% cotton throws are a beautiful addition to your home, on the couch, or on the bed. Satin cotton quilted blankets are divine and will add charm to your bedroom, or anywhere else you may like to use them. We don't use poly filling, the quilts are 100% cotton, plastic-free, and eco-green. The range of Aboriginal art chosen for these blankets and throws is varied and beautiful and should provide exciting options for your home.

    KITCHEN TEXTILES

Linen, cotton, and wool feature in our range of kitchen textiles. There are no artificial fibers and goods are presented with a simple kraft paper wrap that describes the artist and artwork. Tablecloths and table runners made from raw linen or natural cotton have double-bound edging in a contrasting colour. This finishes them off well and helps the cloth sit well on the table. They cost more to make this way but we think it's worth it. Cotton tea towels are so popular, maybe because of the wide range of vibrant Aboriginal and Australian artists represented here. Aprons and pot holders are stylish accessories. Wool table runners have a nonslip backing and are hand-made using .
